浙江工贸职业技术学院为省属公办全日制高等院校，由浙江第一高级技工学校与温州冶金机械厂于1999年联合改制而成立。学校的前身可追溯至1960年创建的温州动力机厂技工学校。

学校地处温州，拥有鹿城府东路和瓯江口两个校区，占地1100多亩，全日制在校学生11900余人，教职工700余人。学校现设有光电制造学院、人工智能学院、设计与数字艺术学院、国际商贸学院、现代管理学院、人文学院和技师与继续教育学院等7个二级学院。

学校主持国家专业教学资源库建设2个，拥有中央财政支持实训基地2个，国家高技能人才培训基地1个，国家“双师型”培养培训基地1个、国家生产性实训基地3个，国家级协同创新中心2个，教育部1+X证书试点项目7个，“双高”计划高水平专业群1个，国家精品（重点）专业3个、国家骨干专业3个、省级优势专业5个和省级特色专业10个，国家精品课程1门，国家精品资源共享课2门，国家精品在线开放课程1门等优质教学资源。

2014年至2019年，在浙江省高校毕业生职业发展状况及人才培养质量调查中，学校三次排名全省高职院校第一名、三次第二名；在浙江省普通高校教学业绩考核中，学院连续六年稳居A类方阵。2016年，学院四年制（本科）高等职业教育人才培养试点获批并开始招生。2020年，学院两年制专升本（本科）专业试点获批并开始招生。

Zhejiang Industry&Trade Vocational College(ZJITVC)is afull-time public provincialhighereducationinstitution,established by the joint reformationof Zhejiang FirstSeniorTechnicalSchooland WenzhouMetallurgical Machinery Factoryin 1999.Its roots can be traced back to1960and the founding ofWenzhouPowerMachineFactoryTechnical school.
